Wedding maps

Having a destination wedding, we needed a map. Despite having trolleys to pick up guests for evening events, I wanted people to know the lay of the land.

I  looked through over 2,000 Etsy options before finding the artist I thought captured my vision.

That artist was Natalie Kilgore, of Natty Michelle, out of Athens, GA.

With only a month before the wedding, Natalie turned my Google map of locations into a work of art for only $75!

Award-winning local food

My dad goes to his farmers' market every Saturday.

If you wake up in time to go with him, he'll introduce you to every vendor.

He loves that it's good food, made the old fashion way, and he's helping out the local economy. What's not to love?

In light of this, every Christmas I surprise my dad with an award-winning local delight. I usually find this through the Flavor of Georgia winners.

In 2009, I gave him bags of granola from Mitera Gourmet in Hahira, GA.
In 2010, I gave him Georgia Pecan Toffee, Gingerettes, and Dark Chocolate Covered Graham Crackers from Let Them Eat Toffee in Newnan, GA.

What will I find him this Christmas?

I also love searching for food on Foodzie!
